One in Four provides a safe place for people to explore the impact childhood sexual abuse has had on their lives. Working to end the trauma of childhood sexual abuse is at the heart of everything the organisation does.

One in Four also actively engages with policy makers at every level to ensure that legislation and processes that have an impact on our clients are sensitive to their needs, and regularly engages in public discourse regarding the prevalence and effects of child sexual abuse.

Advocacy Case Managers (Full-time and Part-time)

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking Advocacy Case Managers to provide specialist support to adult survivors of child sexual abuse. The Case Manager will be responsible for delivering direct client work through contact and case work with the clients who access the service. This includes in-depth one-to-one work with individuals.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • An in-depth knowledge of working with trauma, and sound judgement in relation to the needs of clients who engage in the service.

  • A commitment to continuous learning, and a creative approach to problem solving.

  • A clear understanding of the legal processes, including court procedures.

  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of health, social service agencies and other external stakeholders.

Investigators

Investigators required to undertake covert visits to licensed premises and clubs throughout Northern Ireland and ROI during weekends.

  • This will involve visiting targeted premises/clubs to obtain details of whether correct agreements are in place to display specified broadcasts to the public.

  • Full training will be given and work will be on a self-employed basis.

  • All visit results are submitted via an online system.

  • Valid PSA Private Investigator Employee Licence required for work within ROI.

  • Payments range from 116 – 126 euros (£97 - £105) for each outing undertaken and will be paid in Sterling.

  • An outing will typically consist between 2-4 premises visits during a specified time slot of 90 minutes.

  • Mileage will be paid at £0.28 per kilometre/£0.45 per mile.

  • Typically, this will suit an Investigator looking for flexible weekend work.
