Out of the Blue Training was once again in the spotlight — this time in The Sun newspaper on 13 November 2023. Founder Stephen Moore shared the motivation behind starting the company and the growing need for targeted support for frontline officers in transition.
Stephen, himself a former member of An Garda Síochána, understands just how difficult it can be to step away from a role in public service — especially when it’s a career you’ve committed your life to.
“There are dozens of people who have dedicated their life to public service and they just need some help when they can no longer sustain their roles in An Garda Síochána.”
Out of the Blue was founded to fill that gap — to provide real-world advice, tailored training, and reassurance to those leaving uniformed service and exploring their next chapter.
“The company is specifically designed to help frontline officers and provide them with a smooth transition into other areas of employment,” he said.
